Built in Vancouver. Proven at provincial scale.
TSB HealthCare is the healthcare division of TSB Communications Inc., a Canadian-owned technology company founded in 2011. Our scheduling and patient flow platform has run in production for over eight years, booking millions of appointments for health authorities, hospitals, labs and clinics.
From one booking system to a patient access platform
TSB Communications Inc. was incorporated in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 1, 2011. What began in telecommunications technology grew into a company that builds and operates enterprise software. In healthcare, that work became LabOnlineBooking: a cloud-based scheduling and patient flow platform for diagnostic labs, clinics and health authorities.
The platform started where the pain was most visible: lab patients waiting in line for a blood draw. It grew with the teams who used it. Today it runs online booking, self check-in, queue management and flow analytics across 70+ active sites, including deployments with British Columbia health authorities such as the Provincial Health Services Authority and Fraser Health, alongside private clinics, diagnostic facilities and immunization centers.
We stayed deliberately hands-on: TSB develops, hosts and supports the platform entirely in-house, on infrastructure that keeps Canadian health data resident in Canada. The company is led by our Chief Executive Officer, Young Kim, from our head office at 801–838 West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver.
The values behind the platform
Patients first
Every feature is judged by one test: does it get a patient seen sooner, with less friction? Shorter lines, fewer no-shows and clear communication are the product.
Evidence over hype
We publish numbers we can trace to real deployments (appointments booked, hours saved, no-show rates), and we report them the same way to customers and health authorities.
Privacy by design
Health data is sensitive by definition. The platform is hosted with Canadian data residency and built to public-sector privacy and security requirements from day one.
Reliability is a feature
Care doesn't pause for maintenance windows. Eight-plus years in production and 2,400+ appointments a day have taught us to treat uptime as a clinical requirement.
Local control at scale
One platform can serve a single clinic or an entire province, but each site keeps control of its own schedules, rules and workflows. Scale should never mean one-size-fits-all.
Partners, not vendors
We develop, host and support the platform ourselves, with no subcontractors, so the people who built your deployment are the same people who answer when you call.
Serving healthcare across the U.S. & Canada
From our Vancouver head office, we support deployments ranging from single clinics to multi-authority health systems. Our experience spans diagnostic labs, medical imaging, outpatient clinics, hospitals and mass immunization programs — and our broader technology portfolio includes work with LifeLabs, the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
